Glamorgan Voluntary Services celebrated its volunteers and their work with a special afternoon tea.
On June 3, the first day of Volunteers' Week, Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) honoured its volunteers at its CF61 Community Centre in Llantwit Major.
Almost 30 dedicated volunteers were served sandwiches, cakes, and hot and cold drinks.
Lynda Wallis Hawkins, GVS trustee volunteer, who attended the event said: "Thank you so much for the wonderful Afternoon Tea celebration event at CF61.
"Volunteering can be both a pleasure and a privilege, bringing the opportunity to give back to your community and helping others who need assistance.
"This GVS does in spades.
"It is a pleasure to volunteer with you all and thank you for the afternoon tea."
The joyous event was concluded with a free raffle and a performance from the children of St Illtyds Primary School in Llantwit Major.
Several businesses were thanked for providing gifts for the volunteers.
GVS celebrated its volunteers for making a significant difference to both the organisation and communities.
Duty-bound trustees, social media, and administrative supporters, gardeners, and FoodShare volunteers were all highlighted.
