A Barry author has been picked as part of a Hay Festival writers group.
Taylor Edmonds will participate in the Writers at Work 2024 programme, a creative development opportunity for emerging Welsh talent supported by Literature Wales and funded by Arts Council of Wales.
Hay Festival Global CEO Julie Finch said: "We are delighted to showcase our Writers at Work 2024.
"This year’s programme of activities will meet the challenges Wales’ emerging creatives face today, guarding and growing our creative impact for the future."
Taylor Edmonds is a poet, writer and creative facilitator whose work explores themes of womanhood, identity, connection, nature and empowerment.
Ms Edmonds said: "I am thrilled to be a part of this year's Writers at Work cohort.
"I'm looking forward to immersing myself in all the festival has to offer, developing my skills and networks, and sharing the experience with the rest of the cohort."
Writers at Work was established in 2016, offering ten days of workshops, festival events, and interactions with publishers and established artists to nurture up-and-coming talent.
