A PUB in Barry is set to reopen after receiving over £100,000 in investment.
The Baruc Arms, on High Street, has received a £113,000 investment from Craft Union and is set to reopen with a fresh new look.
The pub, which takes its name from Saint Baruc - a sixth century Celtic saint and disciple of Saint Cadoc - has undergone a complete interior redecoration with key additions including a new darts board, surround sound system, a secondary bar and refreshed bathroom facilities.
A spokesperson for the pub said: "Externally, the pub benefits from new signage and festoon lighting within the garden, making it the ideal place to catch some summer rays and socialise with family and friends.
"The Baruc Arms is well known and loved for its lively music scene and support for local artists.
"As the pub reopens, its music-filled weekend offering returns with live music every Friday and Saturday evening as well as their alternating karaoke and open mic nights each Sunday.
"For those seeking out some mid-week music entertainment, The Baruc Arms also provides a juke box disco every Tuesday from 7pm.
"For the sports enthusiasts, the pub offers pool on Mondays, and race day Tuesdays and Thursdays where customers can win pints.
"The venue also provides guests with viewing from TNT and Sky Sports, so fans can look forward to the summer of upcoming sports action, with brand-new surround sound for an even more immersive experience."

On the revamp, Joe Chamberlain, operator of The Baruc Arms, said: “The team at The Baruc Arms can’t wait to welcome back our community to our new-look pub, just in time for the summer season.
"The pub is looking fantastic, refreshed throughout and we will be picking up right where we left off, with an exciting weekly agenda of events for locals and visitors alike to get involved with.
"Looking forward, we’ll be continuing to support SAFFA, an armed forces charity, with plenty of charity initiatives coming up in the year, so stay tuned.”
Saint Baruc's is set to reopen on Wednesday, April 17.
