A BARRY school has set up a new food pantry with a special pricing guide.
Staff and families at Gladstone Primary School are delighted to announce the opening of their new food pantry and ‘pay as you feel’ coffee shop Glad2Share.
Glad2Share is open to the whole community every morning from 9am to 9.30am for coffee and tea, and every Wednesday from 2pm for the food pantry.
Entry is via the back gate on Southey Street.
A spokesperson for the school said: " Congratulations to Maxi from Year 2 who designed the winning logo and Rubberto Replicas and Ask Frank for bringing it to life.
"The school would also like to thank all those from the Gladstone community who have helped to create this space including Short Bros Developments Ltd, Jasonic, Barry Building Services Ltd and Leekes.
"Also to Matt Fresh for their generous fruit donations."
Headteacher, Mrs Ellis added: “We are so excited Glad2Share is now up and running to serve our Gladstone families and our local community.
"The support we have received is overwhelming and we look forward to developing and enhancing our provision to support as many people as we can.
"Please pop in to say hello!“ Mrs Ellis, Headteacher."
