A Welsh culture and arts festival will take place in Barry in May.
The much-loved Gŵyl Fach y Fro will return to Barry Island on May 18, promising a day of creativity, music and community spirit, organised by Menter Iaith Bro Morgannwg.
The festival will present live performances by school choirs, renowned bands and folk artists, ensuring emerging artists and established names alike are showcased.
There will also be dance performances and workshops.
All entertainment will be delivered in the Welsh language, offering attendees an authentic cultural immersion.
Festival goers can savour delicious food on offer and explore various craft stalls.
Additionally, there are also family-friendly activities, making Gŵyl Fach y Fro more than just a music festival.
Heulyn Rees, chief executive of Menter Bro Morgannwg said: "The festival is delighted to have received support from Cardiff and Vale College, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Barry Town Council, The National Lottery, the Welsh Arts Council, and Welsh Government.
"Their support is essential in bringing this fantastic festival into life."
The event will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 11am to 8pm at Barry Island Promenade.
