A Broken down lorry on the A4226 near a major airport led to severe traffic delays this morning, Wednesday, January 10.
The lorry broke down near Toby Carvery in Barry on the major route to Cardiff Airport at 9am this morning causing an hour of delays.
Police were at the scene to deal with road traffic control, as they assisted the Wincanton freight lorry.
AA Traffic reported delays on the A4226 Waycock Road northbound and B4265 and Waycock Road.
Cardiff Airport warned holidaymakers travelling to the airport to seek an alternative route and leave for their flight with plenty of time.
South Wales Police were contacted for comment.
