RYAN Gosling and Margot Robbie are coming to the Vale! Kinda…
Gosling’s chiseled pecs and Robbie’s perfect smile won’t be on the door to greet you in person, BUT, the cinema at All Saints Church has been chosen as one of the few community cinemas to show Barbie before it goes to other cinemas across the country.
Barbie has been in the multiplexes throughout summer and now it's screening in the regular cinemas.
In a major coup, All Saints Community Cinema has managed to get to the front of the queue to show the blockbuster smash hit.
So, Penarthians, instead of making the trek to Cardiff, or further afield, you’ll be able to leave the comfort of your home and travel just a short distance to Victoria Square where Gosling and Robbie will be ready to embrace you in their digital arms.

However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.
All Saints will screen the film on Saturday, September 30, but it won’t just be a standard get your ticket, buy your popcorn, sit in the cinema and wait for all the ads to finish. No, no, no.
All Saints are doing something a little special as a spokesperson for the community cinema explained.
“We are different to other cinemas as we will be including a themed Barbie drink and Barbie snack included in the ticket prices as well as an afternoon of fun and surprises.”
And on that note, Penarth, and the residents round Victoria Square, get ready for lots of pink.
Doors open 1.30pm, with the film set to start at 2pm.
