A BARRY man has pleaded guilty to criminal charges relating to paedophilia.
Phillip Parfit, 69, of the town’s Maes Yr Ysgol, submitted his pleas at Cardiff Crown Court on January 19.
The court heard how Parfitt was found in possession of indecent and disturbing images of children.
He was also found in possession of grossly offensive images involving intercourse with an animal.
Parfit was also found to have made indecent photos of children.
All charges relate to a period between April 19, 2020 and May 4, 2022.
Parfit, who it was said in court is gravely unwell, will be subject to a pre-sentence report before being sentenced on February 23 at Cardiff Crown Court.
He was released under bail conditions which included not to contact his victims, not to be in the company of anyone under 18, and he was banned from using the internet.
Parfit was also place on the sexual offences register by His Honour Judge Jenkins, with the terms and length of the order to be confirmed on sentencing.
