“It has allowed us to open our new store, and to scale quicker as it has gone down really well, I didn’t think it would do so well as it should but it’s fantastic.

“It is slowly starting to pay off as a lot of people love doughnuts and visiting the seaside.”

The Barry store sells ring doughnuts, cream doughnuts, filled doughnuts, with 12 flavours which are changed every three to four weeks.

Mr Magill added: “Its too early to tell how the current crisis will affect us, we have only been open for two months and so far, it has been worth the risk.

“We have a doughnuts for everyone, vegan, ring doughnuts, round, puddles, and our most popular doughnuts here in the Barry store is a filled Biscoff.

“That’s a puddle doughnuts  with a big blob of Biscoff in the middle, and it’s got a Biscoff crumb and sauce on the top it’s a good one.”
