VOLUNTEER crews from RNLI Barry Dock have once again featured on the BBC show Saving Lives at Sea.
Barry-based lifesavers were front and centre in the first episode of the new seventh season of the show.
The first episode, called Race Against Time, has a description that hints at what is to feature.
The description states: "...in Barry Dock, a teenage girl is caught in a rip current, leaving her unconscious on the beach."
Saving Lives at Sea captures the work that the RNLI do daily, such as rescuing sinking ships, or saving people caught in a rip current.
Volunteers in Barry have featured on the show in the past, as have crews from RNLI Penarth.
The first episode of this season aired at 8pm on Thursday, August 25 on BBC Two, and can now be watched on BBC iPlayer.
