A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
PAUL HARRIS, 52, of Montgomery Road, Barry, was banned from driving for 21 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving with 84 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on Holton Road and Lower Pyke Street on May 15.
He was ordered to pay £319 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
BENJAMIN MOORE, 27, of Ar Y Nant, Barry, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he admitted assaulting a police officer, riding an e-scooter without insurance and without a licence on January 31.
He must complete a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement, his driving record endorsed with six points and he was ordered to pay £385 in a fine, compensation and costs.
CHRISTOPHER WALLER, 27, of Narberth Court, Barry, was ordered to pay £1,300 in fines, costs and a surcharge for riding a motorbike without insurance, without a test certificate and without a licence on Pendine Close on February 27.
His driving licence was endorsed with six points.
MICHAEL LEONARD GREEN, 49, of Windy Ridge, Dinas Powys, was fined £60 after he pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on Thompson Street, Barry, on April 20 and failing to surrender at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on May 6.
