A number of people from Barry and surrounding districts have been convicted of speeding recently.
Susan Jayne Brock, 53, of Lon Lindys, Rhoose, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 11.
She was caught on February 7 doing 35mph on B4265 St Brides Major where the limit is 20mph. She was fined £266 and given five points on here licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Stephen Daniel Metcalfe, 30, of Barry Road, Barry, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 10.
He was caught on November 7 doing 43mph on Skomer Road where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £261 and given four points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Rhiannon Danielle Morris, 29, of Ffordd Penrhyn, Barry, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 13.
She was caught on November 11 doing 27mph on St Andrews Road in Dinas Powys, where the limit is 20mph. She was fined £146 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Sean Townsend, 51, of Heathfield Drive, Barry, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 11.
He was caught on February 21 doing 55mph on A48 St Nicholas where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £400 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay £40 surcharge and £90 costs.
Scott Anthony Ingle, 33, of Hywel Crescent, Barry, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 6.
He was caught on November 2 doing 27mph on B4265 St Brides Major where the limit is 20mph. He was fined £220 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Saeed Hassan, 36, of Winston Road, Barry, was found guilty of speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 6.
He was caught on September 22 doing 35mph on Pentwyn Road in Pentwyn where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £220 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Adrian Robert Hopkins, 49, of Barry Road, Barry, was found guilty of speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 10.
He was caught on October 4 doing 35mph on North Road where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £660 and banned from driving for six months. He also had to pay £66 surcharge and £90 costs.
