A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
CATHERINE REYNOLDS, 39, of Doniford Close, Sully, was banned from driving for 16 months after she admitted drink driving with 72 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on December 1, 2021.
She was ordered to pay £635 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
DAVID RORKE, 50, of Glenbrook Drive, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
He was ordered to pay £940 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
SEAN ROSS MOLONEY, 35, of Porfa Ballas, Rhoose, was banned from driving for 12 months for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
SAMANTHA BAKER, 36, of Port Road, Rhoose, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after she pleaded guilty to public disorder on Barry Road, Barry, on November 11, 2021.
She must complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, was made the subject of a 12-month restraining order and has to pay £195 in costs and a surcharge.
FABY KAZHUVINTHAZHATH-HABEEB, 28, of Barry Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £615 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on October 29, 2021.
Her driving record was endorsed with six points.
DEAN MARK WATKINS, 37, of Greenwood Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £270 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without a licence on St Nicholas’ Road on February 15.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
JOHN LYNDON DAVIES, 58, of Cog Road, Sully, was ordered to pay £319 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he admitted driving without due care and attention in Cowbridge on November 16, 2021.
His driving record was endorsed with five points.
