A FURTHER 87 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, but no new deaths.
Of the new cases, 56 were recorded in Cardiff and 31 in the Vale of Glamorgan.
However, no new deaths were recorded in the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board area in the latest 24-hour period.
Across Wales, 16 new deaths were reported and 391 new cases.
Case rates are falling across Wales, with the average standing at 268.8 cases per 100,000 of the population.
The new daily cases recorded in Vale of Glamorgan equate to 23.2 per 100,000 of the population, the highest in Wales in the latest period.
