HUNDREDS of pounds in fines has been handed out to Barry speeding drivers in the past two weeks.
The offences all took place in or by people from Barry.
Laura Jean Harris, 34, of Cei Tir Y Castell, Barry, pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 10.
She was caught doing 45mph on the 30mph Skomer Road in Barry. She was fined £66 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay a £34 surcharge.
Jane Everest, 51, of Gateholm Close, Barry, pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 10.
She was caught doing 36mph on the 30mph Skomer Road on August 20. She was fined £84 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
James Angove, 35, of Livingstone Way, St Athan, pleaded guilty to speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on March 8.
He was caught doing 43mph on the 30mph A487 Simpson Cross in Pembrokeshire. He was fined £66 and given four points on his licence. He also had to pay a £34 surcharge.

Janet Kerslake, 59, of Scott Close, St Athan pleaded guilty to speeding at Lincoln Magistrates Court on March 8.
She was caught doing 35mph on the 30mph A153 Main Road in Anwick on November 18. She was fined £110 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay a £34 costs and £90 surcharge.
Andrea Louise Graciz, 48, of Ffordd Pentre, Barry pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 7.
She was caught doing 24mph on the 20mph Romily Road, Canton on August 27. She was fined £66 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay a £34 surcharge.
Nigel Shoemark, 51, of Smeaton Close, Rhoose pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 11.
He was caught doing 59mph on the 30mph Tondu Road in Bridgend on October 10. He was fined £440 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay a £44 surcharge and £90 costs.
Katie Lewis, 37, of Aberaeron Close, Barry pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 10.
She was caught doing 35mph on the 30mph Skomer Road. She was fined £40 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
Jay Charles Manfield, 26, of Cei Dafydd, Barry pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 11.
He was caught doing 53mph on the 30mph Cowbridge Road West. He was fined £440 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay a £44 surcharge and £90 costs.
Andrew James Gilmour, 46, of St Paul’s Avenue, Barry pleaded guilty to speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on March 2.
He was caught doing more than the 30mph limit on Jenner Road on March 12. He was fined £100 and banned from driving for six months. He also had to pay £34 surcharge.
