A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

MICHAEL ANDREW KEENAN, 33, of O'Donnell Road, Barry, was banned from driving for 20 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving with 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on Holton Road on February 11.

He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

WYATT HUNTER, 25, of Dylan Crescent, Barry, was ordered to pay £262 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on Robins Lane on January 8.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

SAMUEL CAMILLERI, 44, of Aberaeron Close, Barry, was sentenced to a 12-month community order after he admitted stealing gift sets, sunglasses and teeth whitening kits from Boots and five jars of coffee from Home Bargains.

He must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, complete a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement and was ordered to pay £343.90 in compensation.

PHILIP WILLIAMS, 64, of Cardiff Road, Barry, was banned from driving for six months after he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

BRUNO JEZIORSKI, 21, of Clarendon Road, Penylan, Cardiff, was conditionally discharged for six months after he admitted being drunk and disorderly on Broad Street/Hood Road, Barry, on February 13.

He was ordered to pay £107 in costs and a surcharge.
