A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
LUKE ANTHONY JOHN PATERSON, 18, of Cardiff Prison, was sent to a young offender institution for four weeks after he admitted interfering with a Triumph motorbike in Barry on December 5, 2021 and taking an Aprilia motorcycle without consent in Barry between December 3-6, 2021.
He was banned from driving for eight months and ordered to pay a £128 surcharge.
JOSH OLIVER WILDING, 32, of Afal Sur, Barry, was jailed for eight weeks after he admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following his from jail and being in breach of a suspended prison sentence for harassment.

SHANE BYARD, 53, of Barry Road, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
DARREN BURTON, 41, of Powys Place, Dinas Powys, was banned from driving for 16 months after he admitted drink driving at McDonald’s, Barry, with 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on December 4, 2021.
He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
GAVIN CHRISTOPHER RALPHS, 53, of Ger-Y-Mor, Barry, was ordered to pay £159 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to public disorder at the Holiday Inn Express, Port, Road, Rhoose, on February 9.
MATTHEW SHRIMPTON, 47, of Lynmouth Drive, Sully, was banned from driving for six months for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
He was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
DEBORAH LOUISE BROWN, 50, of Jacksons Quay, Barry, was ordered to pay £164 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without a licence on Vincent Close on January 18.
Her driving record was endorsed with three points.
ANDREW RALPH LOWE, 34, of Queen Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £214 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving through a red light on the A48 Cowbridge Road West, Ely, Cardiff, on October 4, 2021.
His driving record was endorsed with three points.
MICHAEL EDWIN BEECHAM, 44, of Slade Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
