A DRINK driver was hit with a four-year ban after she was more than three times the limit.
Layla Buckley, 35, of Barry Road, Barry, was caught by police at Ty Iolo, Ar-Y-Nant, on August 9 in a Volkswagen Beetle car.
She admitted drink driving after previously pleading not guilty.
Cardiff Magistrates’ Court heard how she gave a reading of 121mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit is 35mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
Buckley was sentenced to a 12-month community order and ordered to complete a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
The defendant must pay £315 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
