A VALE of Glamorgan woman will have to pay a huge fine for failing to pay her rail fare.
Jaqueline Harrison, 59, of Plassey Street, Penarth, was ordered to pay £666.30 in a fine, costs, compensation and a surcharge for not paying £3.30 for a train ticket between Cogan and Cadoxton on a Transport for Wales service on February 24.

The defendant will have to hand over a penalty nearly 202 times what her ticket would have cost her.
The case was proved in her absence at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
