A NUMBER of people from the Vale have been in court this month for breaches of Covid-19 rules. Here we round up those who have appeared in court in September to answer to the charges relating to Barry and Penarth.
Suzanne Marie Webber, 27 of Rhoose Way, Rhoose, was fined £1,760 for gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It occurred on February 13. At the hearing at Cardiff Magistrates Court on September 9, she was also ordered to pay £90 costs and £176 surcharge.
Gabriel Shires, 24 of Ffordd y Mileniwm, Barry was fined £1,760 for gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It occurred on February 27. At the hearing at Cardiff Magistrates Court on September 9, he was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £176 and £90 costs.
Geraint Pilcher, 31 of Hood Road, Barry, was fined £1,760 for gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It occurred on February 28. At the hearing at Cardiff Magistrates Court on September 8, he was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £176 and £90 costs.
Dean Carlin, 24 of Ffordd y Mileniwm, Barry, was fined £1,760 for gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It happened on February 27. At the hearing on September 1, he was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £176 and £90 costs.
Jayde Lucianne Patricia Moran, 33 of West Walk, Barry, was fined £60 after pleading guilty to gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It happened on March 6. At the hearing on September 17, she was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and £90 costs.
Michael Andrew Reeves, 41 of Gerddi Margaret, Barry, was fined £1,760 for gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It happened on February 13. At the hearing at Cardiff Magistrates Court on September 9, he was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £176 and £90 costs.

Lee Lawrance Watts, 42 of Dyfan Road, Barry, was fined £1,760 for gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It happened on February 13. Ross Thomas Francis, 25 of Wheatley Road, Ely, was fined £1,760 for gathering with another person in an alert level 4 area of Wales without reasonable excuse. It happened on February 7 in Barry.
