WITH restrictions gradually easing in Wales it’s important to remember the community spirit which helped people throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Today marks the start of our ‘Still Together’ project, which follows on from our ‘We’re In This Together’ campaign and aims to bring people together and highlight the support that is still out there for people from all walks of life.

We may be easing out of lockdown but there are still those feeling the impact of the pandemic either through their physical or mental health, money worries, dealing with loss or feeling isolated. And there are so many in our community who step up, willing to help those in need.

We will once again be sharing – online and in print – a list of support services including public organisations, charities, community groups and local volunteers who are there to help.

Along with this we will be sharing stories of hope and inspiration, bringing to light the positivity that remains during potentially negative times.

MS Jane Hutt has supported the project and said: "I am pleased to support the ‘Still Together’ Campaign in the Vale of Glamorgan.

"I want to remind anyone who needs help to reach out and to thank all of the volunteers who have supported their communities throughout the pandemic."

Keep an eye out for listings and stories shared as part of the campaign and don't hesitate to get in touch with any stories of teamwork, support, or comradery.
