POLICE have appealed to the public for help to locate a missing Vale teenager.

UPDATE: South Wales Police said Callum Roper has been found "safe and well". The force thanked members of the public for their assistance.

South Wales Police said 16-year-old Callum Roper was reported missing on January 7, and concern is growing for his welfare.
Callum, from Barry, has links to the Llantwit Major area, the force said.
Anyone who believes they might have seen Callum, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, should contact South Wales Police by calling 101, quoting occurrence *007470.
