A DRINK-DRIVER more than three-and-a-half times the legal limit was handed a suspended prison sentence and banned from driving for four years.
Barry Joseph Pickup, 45, of Aberaeron Close, Cadoxton, Barry, gave a reading of 128
micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
It is his third conviction for drink-driving.

Pickup was stopped in a Volvo C30 on St Bride’s Way, Barry, on May 6.
He had denied drink-driving but was found guilty after a trial at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
The defendant was jailed for 21 weeks, suspended for 18 months.
Pickup was ordered to complete a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
He was ordered to pay £748 in costs and a surcharge.
