A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
ANTHONY PAUL MCCAULEY, 57, of Heol Y Llongau, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug-driving with benzoylecgonine in his blood.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was ordered to pay £357 in fines, costs and a surcharge.
MATTHEW DAVID NEWBURY, 33, of Priory Gardens, Barry, was banned from driving for 20 months after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving.

He was also ordered to pay £239 in fines, costs and a surcharge.
JACK RICHARD THOMAS, 23, of College Place, Barry, was sentenced to an 18-month community order after he pleaded guilty to the criminal damage of a mobility scooter.
He was made the subject of an alcohol treatment requirement for six months and must complete a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Thomas has to pay £230 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
GARETH ROSS HUDSON, 38, of Robins Lane, Barry, was ordered to pay £85 costs after he admitted possession of seven diazepam tablets.
ADAM JONES, 32, of Elizabeth Avenue, Barry, was fined £116 after he pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.
WAYNE GINO BURNELL, 36, of Vere Street, Barry, was banned from driving for six months for driving without insurance.
He was also ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
NANCY AMERY, 30, of Fonmon Road, Fontygary, Rhoose, was ordered to pay £114 in a fine and a surcharge for driving without insurance.
Her driving licence was also endorsed with six points.
STONEHOUSE MIRUVO MUGALAVAI, 48, of South Road, Sully, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance.
His driving licence was also endorsed with six points.
