A WOMAN has been banned from keeping animals for five years after she admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a black female crossbreed dog called Bella.
Bridgette Patricia Alexander Gulley, 23, “failed to provide adequate veterinary care and attention for its severe skin disease, hair loss and associated infection”.
The defendant, of Holland Way, Barry, pleaded guilty to three charges under the Animal Welfare Act.

The offences were committed between September and October 2019.
At Cardiff Magistrates’ Court, Gulley was sentenced to a 12-month community order and must complete a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
She was also ordered to pay £405 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
