THE trial of a man accused of murdering a Barry dad in Holton Road, before Christmas last year, is underway in Cardiff Crown Court.
Twenty-five-year-old Jordan Brown, of Holton Road, denies murdering Jordan Davies, 23, in Holton Road, on December 16.
Jordan Davies died after suffering stab wounds around 4pm.
The incident was witnessed by shoppers and Jordan Davies was declared dead at the scene.
Judge, Rhys Rowlands is hearing the case with Claire Pickthall and Michael Jones QC representing the prosecution.
Representing the defendant are Adam Sharp and Jonathan Elystan Rees QC.
The trial, conducted with courtroom social distancing measures and an overflow courtroom in place, is expected to last between three and four weeks.
The jury has been sworn in and are seated socially distanced.
They have been shown photographs of Jordan Davies and locations in Barry.
