EARLIER this week, Penarth Coastguard and Barry RNLI rescued four people who had been cut off by the tide on Sully Island.
They say this is the third such incident since the government lockdown came into force.
In a statement on Facebook, the Penarth Coastguard team wrote: “The government has been clear that during this coronavirus pandemic we need to #StayHomeSaveLives.
“Despite that, we’ve had three incidents of people cut off on Sully Island since lockdown.”
