JOHN ROBERT HOBBS Recently retired Chairman of the Barry Royal British Legion. It is with great sadness that the family wish to announce the passing of John on April 12th who died peacefully at home aged 79. Much loved husband of the late Gwen, loving dad to Robert, father to Tracy, grandfather to Ben, Stacey and Shannon, loving great grandfather to Oliver and Jack. A man who devoted his life to others, he will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew him. Resting in peace at W. Spickett & Son, Court Road, Barry until his service at St Mary's Church, Holton Road, Barry on Monday 30th April at 10.15am followed by cremation at the Cardiff and Vale Crematorium, Barry at 12 noon. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of John can be made to Barry Royal British Legion 'Memorial Fund' care of W. Spickett & Son, Court Road, Barry.
