KIRBY Lydia MARGARET Peacefully in Holme Tower, Penarth with her close family by her side on 6th November 2011 aged 80 years. Former Mayor of Barry and a Life long member of the Labour party and the British Legion, serving the people of Barry and the Vale for over 50 years. Much loved mother to Sheila, Sue, Lien and Trevor, beloved sister of Ann, cherished grandmother, great grand- mother and great great grandmother. Will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Resting at A G Adams & Son, Gladstone Road, Barry until the service in the chapel on Thursday 17th November 2011 at 2.45pm followed by a committal service at the Vale of Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry at 3.45pm. Family flowers only please.
