DOWDELL Herbert Ernest (Bert) Peacefully on 1st Feb, 2019, in the tender care of the Waverley Care Centre, Penarth, our beloved Bert, aged 84 years, sadly passed away following a stroke. Dearly beloved husband of Brenda and the late Thelma, much loved father of Jacqueline, Lesley, Ian and spouses, cherished step-father of Deborah, Andrew and spouses, adored bamps / grandfather to both sets of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, beloved big brother of Barbara, Gareth and Colin, Step-brother to the late Peter and Mary. A celebration of Berts life will be held at A G Adams Funeralcare on Monday 18th Feb at 2.45pm followed by a committal service at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations if desired to SOLACE an organisation who provide information and support to carers of older people with mental health needs. Black attire Optional. A true Gentleman to the end.
