CARTER Marie Winifred Anne (nee Gilham) Marie passed away peacefully at the University Hospital of Wales Cardiff, aged 91, on the 12th December 2018, following a short illness. Devoted wife to the late John, loving mother to Jeremy, Anne, Christopher and Nicholas, and adored mother-in-law of Monica and Larry. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Dawn and Malcolm and a dear sister of the late Joy. Cherished grandmother to Shaun, Andrew, Sophie, Rachel and Amber, and much-loved great grandmother to Barton and Hermione. Also a dear aunt to Emma and Verity. Marie's kindness and wisdom will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Resting in the care of Green Willow Funerals, Dinas Powys until a celebration of her life on Monday 7th January 2019 at Merthyr Dyfan Church, Barry at 1pm. The service to be followed by a cremation at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry. Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff.
