EDGAR Alan Charles 8/6/52 to 23/5/16 Alan passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife Jan at his side. He fought cancer for a long time with total dignity, but it was a battle he eventually lost. He leaves behind Jan his wife of 42 years, son Barrie, daughter Melanie, five grandchildren and one step granddaughter. He also leaves four siblings. Alan’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday 8th June at the Vale of Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road Barry at 1pm. As per Alan’s wishes flowers if desired may be sent to the funeral home or donations can be made at the service for Velindre Cancer Care. If you wish to join us after the service, we will be “raising a glass or two” to Alan at the Cherry orchard (College Inn), Barry Road, Barry. Alan is Resting at Robert D Johnson Independent Funeral Directors 29 Holton Road Barry.
