A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

ROBERT CLIVE ANTHONY BUTLER, 62, of Heol Cilffrydd, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drink driving in the Morrisons supermarket car park.

He was ordered to pay £239 in costs, a fine and a surcharge.

CAITLIN DONOVAN, 19, of Port Road, Rhoose, was ordered to pay £210 in compensation, costs and a surcharge after she admitted stealing an iPhone.

MICHAEL SZEFLER, 31, of Vere Street, Barry, was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £816 in costs, a fine and a surcharge for driving without insurance and a licence.

LOURA VENTRICE-PAGE, 35, of Drake Close, St Athan, was banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £811 in costs, a fine and a surcharge for driving without insurance.

ALAN THOMAS JONES, 71, of Jewel Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £164 in a fine, costs and a surcharge and his driving record endorsed with three points for driving without a licence.

ALEXIS ROSE NUNES, of Victoria Park Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £100 in a fine and surcharge and her driving record endorsed with three points for speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone in Swansea.

BENJAMIN TODD, 26, of Gaen Street, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge and his driving record endorsed with six points after he failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.

MATTHEW JOHN FINCH, 46, of Gwyn Close, Wenvoe, was ordered to pay £199 in costs, a fine and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine in Barry.
